On 2021, Total will continue to support the Lagunillas Municipal Health Network

The company announced the solidarity and voluntary provision of supplies and equipment to the Lagunillas Municipal Health Network to prevent and alleviate the Covid-19 pandemic will continue this year. Total's decision was officially confirmed in an agreement signed with the Municipal Government of Lagunillas, the San Luis Hospital, as head of the Municipal Health Network, and the Alto Parapeti TCO leaders.

Total will deliver to the San Luis hospital, the main health center in Lagunillas, an automatic washing machine, necessary for the hygiene of patients admitted to the hospital and to the Covid-19 isolation wards. It will also deliver a thermo-fogger for fumigation against mosquitoes that carry dengue fever, an endemic disease in the municipality.

In addition, Total will donate Covid-19 rapid tests for follow up, surgical masks, liquid alcohol and bleach for the San Luis hospital and the surrounding health centers in communities neighboring the company’s operation areas.
This solidarity support responds to the Covid-19 health alert that has been in place since last year. In this same context, Total informed that it continues with the encapsulation of its operating personnel, ratifying that it maintains strict quarantine protocols and PCR tests prior to the entry of all personnel to the sites operated within the municipality of Lagunillas.
